My work is more expressionism than anything else. I like the creativity of experimentation and the freedom of expression that I feel when I paint and as the paint goes on the canvas it begins to come together.
I was born in NYC and moved to Vermont in 1995.
My primary colors and music series are all expressional abstracts that reflect the music scene and memories of my New York City nightlife.
I tied for third place for oil painting at the 2007 Champlain Valley Exposition Art Show at the Blue Ribbon Pavilion with my rendition of 'All That Jazz' oil on canvas. The same painting was chosen by Vermont Public Radio to be reproduced on their special 'Artist Mug' for their February 2011 membership drive.
I am now working on a new body of work, and experimenting with colors, mixed mediums and different types of textures.
I have had solo exhibitions in Vermont and have been in group exhibitions and juried shows in New York, Vermont and Florida and have
also had the opportunity to write two step by step presentations for an on line art forum of which I have been a long standing member.
